Meanwhile, her second husband was David Duchovny, an actor. They got married on May 13, 1997, and divorced in June 2014. David suffered from sexual addiction and had to undergo rehabilitation during their marriage. They have two kids, namely Madelaine West and Kyd Miller. At present, she is dating Tim Daly, her co-star in Madam Secretary. They have been together since December 2014.
Tea became the 2001 UNICEF goodwill ambassador. She also has a celestial body named after her. It was discovered in 1993 at La Silla by Eric Elst. It was called Asteroid 8299 Tealeoni.
