Kassidy Leigh Cook was born on May 9, 1995 and she is an American diver. Cook was a member of the United States national diving team in the year 2012. She narrowly missed out on participating in the Olympics by 0.4 points on June 23, 2012, but, she later managed to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics. She participated in the event and ended on the 13th place in the women’s 3 metre springboard event.
Cook is the 5th of the six children of Kevin and Laura Cook and she is a resident of The Woodlands, Texas. She has five siblings named Kevin, Kara, Kelsey, Kylie and Kendall. Cook started her diving career as a four year old. Her older sister Kara was also a diver at Purdue University.
Cook has a strict training regime and she trains five hours a day, six days a week. She used to work as a child model before she started her diving career. The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA), named her as the 2010 high school girls national champion in its diving All-American program.
She graduated from The Woodlands High School in the year 2013. Cook completed her graduation from Stanford University in the year 2018.
Cook is presently working as a recruiting coordinator at 23andMe after her graduation from Stanford University.
