Named after the famous attraction in the Grand Canyon and the Roman goddess, Juno Temple also became a sexy and talented individual that attracted the masses throughout her acting career.
Juno Temple came from a family affiliated to the entertainment industry, so it’s not surprising that the actress already showed interest in acting at a young age. Born in London in 1989 as Juno Violet Temple, she is a daughter of a film director and a producer. Her beauty is best described as uniquely stunning, thanks to her mixed Scottish and English ancestry.
Shortly after her birth, Juno Temple’s family went to America, where they spent the first four years of the young actress’s life. Later, they relocated to Somerset in England. When she was only four years old, Juno Temple already expressed her desire to work as an actress. That came after her father showed her the 1946 show Beauty and the Beast.
Juno Temple attended primary school in Somerset. While studying, she got her first on-screen experience when her father cast her in his movie. In 1998, Juno Temple got her first role for the film Vigo: A Passion for Life. Unfortunately, her part got cut on the final movie.
Two years later, through her father’s movie Pandaemonium, Juno Temple got another acting gig. She was 11 years old by then.
When she was 15 years old and graduated from a boarding school, where she took drama classes, Juno Temple told her parents that she was serious about pursuing an acting career. With her mother’s help, the actress went to an open audition for the 2006 movie Notes on a Scandal. Through her merit in acting, Juno Temple landed a part in the film. She played the daughter of Cate Blanchett.
That was her first significant role on the big screen, which opened the door for a growing acting career for Juno Temple. The following year, the actress got another break for Atonement, a high-profile film where she played the character of Lola. She had to dye her hair red for the part.
Two years later, in 2009, Juno Temple decided to relocate to Los Angeles, partly to continue her career as an actress.
In the 2014 movie Maleficent, Juno Temple auditioned for the character of Aurora. However, she wasn’t able to get the part, although she still got cast as Thistlewit in the movie.
The producer and director of the 2015 movie adaptation of the novel Fifty Shades of Grey had Juno Temple as her first choice to play the female lead, Anastasia Steele. The character calls for baring her ass and movie on-screen, something that the actress refused to do.
Throughout her acting career, Juno Temple appeared in several projects, both on the television and the big screen. She was in movies such as Killer Joe, The Dark Knight Rises, The Three Musketeers, and Black Mass. Juno Temple also got a starring role in the drama show Vinyl in HBO and appeared in Wild Child and The Other Boleyn Girl.
