Jessica Rothe was born in Denver, Colorado, and is the daughter of Susan and Steve Rothenberg. Rothe’s father has Jewish origins. Her grandmother Colleen Rothenberg was a theatre actress who was a member of the Congregation Shomrei Torah synagogue in Santa Rosa, California.
