Born on 1 April 1981 as Hannah Louise Spearritt, she is an English actress and singer. She is among the original members of the pop group S Club 7 from 1999 until they disbanded in 2003. In November 2014, the group revealed plans for an arena reunion tour, Bring It All Back 2015, which did a tour of UK in May 2015. Spearritt is also famous for appearing as Abby Maitland in a drama Primeval.
Spearritt was born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and was raised in nearly Gorleston-on-Sea. She has a sister named Tanya Spearritt who is a former model and fashion designer. She was three years of age when she featured in a Mothercare catalogue.
In the year 2003, she auditioned for the film Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London, a fact that she disclosed at the UK premiere of the movie on 24 March, 2004 in London. She landed the role and three days after she left S Club, filming started. In late 2011, she performed The Belle’s Stratagem, where she appeared as Lady Frances. In March 2012, Spearritt took over the role of Pauline in a play named One Man, Two Guvnors in the Theatre Royal Haymarket. In December 2015, she was confirmed to appear as Mercedes Christie in a BBC medical drama Casualty. Spearritt debuted on the show on 23 January 2016.
Spearritt met Paul Cattermole in 1994 when they both were members of the National Youth Music Theatre. In the year 1999, Spearritt and Cattermole joined S Club 7. They were in a relationship from 2001 until 2006. Spearritt had been engaged to Andrew-Lee Potts from 2008 until 2013. On 20 December 2018, Spearritt gave birth to a baby girl.
