Hannah Ferguson was born in a small town in San Angelo, Texas, in 1992. Both of her parents are serving in the US Marine Corps. She grew up on a small farm, where she and her siblings took care of animals, such as turkeys, ducks, and sheep.
In a show Model Squad, Ferguson shared that her family struggled with money when she was young. They even have to live without running water for five years.
Right after high school, Ferguson joined the local contest Kim Dawson Model Search and won. She also worked with local brands for catalog shoots. The young model never had formal model training.
Later on, she moved to New York City to start her career in modeling. She got her big break as a swimwear model for the American magazine Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2014. She was wearing nothing but body paint by makeup artist Joanne Gair.
Following her stint, she posed topless at Swim Daily. She became the first off-season swimsuit model for the magazine. She also got featured in the magazine for four years until 2017.
Similarly, Ferguson appeared on the covers of famous fashion magazines, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle. She also made it in the pages of international men’s magazines like GQ.
Aside from magazines, she also appeared in the Super Bowl commercial of fast-food chain Carl’s Jr. and lingerie brand Triumph and Victoria’s Secret.
Later on, Ferguson began modeling for luxury fashion brands. In 2017, she worked with Italian designers, such as Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara at Milan Fashion Week. She also walked in the opening of the German designer Philipp Plein Resort show.
