Katherine Ryan, the famous comedian whom you might know from her two Netflix shows from 2017 and 2019. This Canadian comedian has been doing comedy for a long time. She first started doing it part-time when she was in college. At that time, Ryan was working in the Restaurant chain of Hooters as a waitress and a trainer of waitresses until she got fired.
She moved to London for personal reasons in 2008. Ryan’s career primarily started with a show called Video on Trial. She appeared there for three years from 2005 to 2008. In 2012, Ryan was in the show of Channel 4 “8 Out of 10 Cats”, she was a team captain there. Then in 2013, Ryan’s BBC show Let’s Dance for Comic Reliefs got aired.
After two years, Ryan was doing a BBC show “Hair”, it was a great show that helped her grow her fame. In 2017 she was offered the first Netflix Original “Katherine Ryan: In Trouble”. Then in the same year she co-hosted “Your Face or Mine?”
Ryan does a lot of other works besides comedy. She was a part-time magazine columnist and a voice-over artist for a Disney Cartoon series. She currently has a daughter and partner in Crouch End, London.
