Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Diana Hopper first realized her passion for playing characters on stage when she was 11 years of age. She got deeply involved with local and regional theater and in summer 2010, she attended the New York Film Academy’s acting program in New York City, expanding her professional training.
In the year 2011, she got her first leading movie role when she played the role of Sammy in The Wicked. After finishing filming, she decided to move to Los Angeles and become a full time actress. Diana immediately got a few television projects such as a role on Criminal Minds and supporting roles in Earthfall for Lifetime channel and Lavalantula for SYFY. She also tried her hand at comedy and appeared on VH1’s “Stevie TV”. In the year 2015 she landed another lead role in a Lifetime film titled “Hidden Truth.” She also got a supporting role in “Goliath” for Amazon. During the filming of Goliath, Diana also filmed a role for HULU’s Golden Globe nominated series “Casual.”
In the year 2016, Diana Hopper co-starred as Denise McBride opposite Billy Bob Thornton in Amazon original drama series Goliath. Whenever she is not acting, Diana prefers to spend time with her friends, explore the outdoors and cook. Her signature dishes are stir fry, and sweet and sour pork. She is fond of music and her favorite artists are Brandon Flowers, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, Phoenix, Florence and the Machine, Third Eye Blind, and Led Zeppelin. Diana is a fan of basketball team Memphis Grizzlies and is a resident of Los Angeles.
