Born as Alexia “Ally” Joannides in January 1998, she is an American actress famous for playing the role of Dylan Jones in an NBC drama series Parenthood from the year 2014 until 2015 and Tilda in the 2015 until present day in AMC’s martial arts drama series Into The Badlands.

Loannides was born in Atlanta, Georgia and she grew up in Park City, Utah. She relocated to Burbank, California at the age of 14. She started working as a stage actor and played roles in various musicals at the Egyptian Theatre in Park City and also in the Pioneer Theatre Company and Hale Center Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She joined elementary school at Pace Academy in Atlanta and then Trailside in Park City. Finally she joined the Madeleine Choir School where she sang in more than 300 services and concerts, most notably at the Utah Opera.

Loannide’s first professional acting assignment was at the age of 11 when she played the role of Ester in the stage version of A Christmas Story. She further played roles in plays like White Christmas, Annie, and The Sound of Music.

Loannides is now primarily focused on film and television, most prominently as Dylan Jones on NBC show Parenthood. Her short film with Mar Moses titled The Tsarevich is travelling to numerous film festivals and another of her short titled Stray is among the top 200 for “Project Greenlight.”
