Alexis met some people working for the adult film company ‘Shane’s World’, while she was working at a college bar in 2006 and she agreed to appear in a film they were making with college amateurs. That’s how she made it into the industry.
Shortly after this, she travelled to Florida to work for Bang Bros. Later, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue adult film acting on a full-time basis and began shooting scenes for the LA Direct modeling agency in 2007. She won the CAVR Performer of the Year Award in 2009 and in the same year, formed her own company, launching her own web site. She signed up with ‘Adam & Eve’ in 2012 and worked until her harmonious separation from the company in 2014.
She made her directorial debut with Big Booty Tryouts that was released in 2015. She appeared in all of the film’s scenes, which were the primary ones she shot after a nearly two-year break from performing. She also directed The Real Buttwoman Returns.
Texas featured on the cover of Genesis magazine in April 2009 and on Hustler magazine’s 35th-anniversary issue in June 2009. In 2010, she was mentioned by Maxim as one of the top female stars in porn. In the year 2013, she was one of the 16 actresses portrayed in Deborah Anderson’s documentary Aroused. By 2017, she had made appearances in 625 films as a performer and 5 as the director.
