Born as Beatrice Elizabeth Mary on 8 August 1988, she is a member of the British royal family. She was born on 8 August 1988 at 8:18 pm in The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, and is the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, and the fifth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She got baptised in the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace on 20 December 1988. Her name which is an unusual choice, but, it wasn’t announced until nearly two weeks of her birth.
Beatrice started her educatin at the Indpendent Upton House School in Windsor, in the year 1991. From there, Beatrice and her sister both attended the independent Coworth Park School from 1995. Beatrice persisted with her education at the independent St. George’s School in Ascot, where she studied from 2000 to 2007. Beatric was seven years of age when she was diagnosed with dyslexia and it delayed sitting her GCSE exams for a year. She stayed at St. George’s to appear for her A-Levels, and she received a grade A in drama, and B grades in history and film studies. She was elected as the Head Girl in her final year and was also a member of the school choir.
In September 2008, she started a three-year course as she studied for a Ba in History and History of Ideas at Goldsmiths College, London. Princess Beatrice completed her graduation in 2011 with a 2:1 degree.
In the year 2017, the Princess helped in the promotions of the anti-bullying book Be Cool Be Nice, and also did an interview to Vogue at a House of Lords event, discussing her own experiences with being bullied for her fashion choices during her early adulthood. She was later named as one of the best-dressed royals by Hello! Magazine in the year 2017. In October 2018, she went on an extended tour of Laos to “raise the profile of the UK” in that country and took part in the Luang Prabang Half Marathon for Children.
In March 2019, Beatrice got elected to the board of Outward Bound as a trustee, after the patronization of her grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.
