Former hot gymnast Shawn Johnson-East is making headlines not because of gymnastics but because of her career as a mother. Before she became a mother, Shawn competed in several Olympic Games as an artistic gymnast. And even before being a mom, she was already a target of body shaming. Shawn fought back against the trolls who thought that she was not sexy enough, or she does not look good in a bikini. It proves that Shawn is an excellent ass-kicker!

At 28 years old, Shawn Machel Johnson-East already did a great job as a gymnast. She was born on January 19, 1992, in the City of Des Moines in Iowa. Shawn’s exposure to gymnastics was as early as three years old when her parents enrolled her in Liang Chow’s gymnastics class. Chow became Shawn’s coach for the next two decades of her career in gymnastics.
When she was in high school, Shawn excelled in her class and was even active with extracurricular activities. Although she dreamed of becoming a top gymnast, Shawn still maintained a well-balanced lifestyle. She would only train for 25 hours a week, which is too short for elite gymnasts’ practice time.
Then, in 2009, Shawn had to leave school and Iowa and moved to Los Angeles with her mom. She then finished her high school through private sessions with a tutor. However, just before the 2008 Olympics, Shawn suffered an eating disorder. She was not eating the required calories for a 16-year-old.
Shawn then met Andrew East in 2012, and they got engaged in 2015. Later, in April of 2016, the two got married in Tennessee. Although the couple already wanted to have children, Shawn suffered a miscarriage in 2017. Two years later, she became a happy mama to the boobs sucker Drew Hazel East on October 29, 2019.
Although Liang Chow did not have any connections with the USA Gymnastics National Team, he still sent a video of Johnson’s performance via e-mail, saying that Johnson might help the US team win. From there, Shawn got invited to join the US National Gymnastics training camps at the age of 12.
In 2007, Shawn soon joined the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships along with her US team. They finished with a gold medal, the second gold medal of the US team in the World Championships. Then, in 2008, Shawn competed for the American Cup and finished in second. She also competed in the US Visa Championships in June 2008, where she also won.
Johnson and the US Team competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics and won second place overall. She also won a silver medal in the individual category.
