Born as Ariadana Thalia Sodi Miranda on 26th August 1971, she is a Mexican singer, songwriter, producer, actress and entrepreneur. She is regarded as one of the most successful and influential Mexican artists globally. Apart from her native Spanish language, Thalia has also sung in English, French, Portuguese andTagalog.
At times she is called as the “Queen of Latin Pop” by the international media because of her fame in the Latin pop music scene for the last three decades. She has sold more than 25 million records worldwide. She has received a number of accolades including five Billboard Latin Music Awards (17 nominations), a number of Premios Juventud and Lo Nuestro Awards, and also seven Latin Grammy Award nominations.
