Simmone Mackinnon, an Australian actress and producer, was born on March 19, 1973, in Mount Isa, Queensland to Ian and Annette Mackinnon. Simmone Mackinnon, along with her parents, brother Robbie and sister Kym to Coffs Harbour in New South Wales.
Simmone Mackinnon made her debut in 1988 with an Australian feature film, Something About Love, where she was cast as a therapist. In the upcoming years, Simmone Mackinnon grabbed roles like a Doctor’s Assistant in Dating the Enemy in 1996 followed by Dust of the Wings in 1997.
With three small roles in hand, Simmone Mackinnon began to make a mark on television. Simmone Mackinnon was seen making a guest appearance in Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord, which was a sequel to the original series of Spellbinder. Some of Simmone Mackinnon’s television works include roles on Water Rats, All Saints, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World, The Cut, Rescue: Special Ops, Cops L.A.C. and City Homicide. Simmone Mackinnon was last seen in Neighbours, playing the role of Zoe Alexander in 2012.
In 2001, Simmone Mackinnon was seen with Powers Boothe in the television mini-series Attila, along with Gerard Butler. Simmone Mackinnon was also seen in varied roles in three direct-to-video films, Python, Dark Waters and Submission, for which Simmone Mackinnon also was the producer.
Simmone Mackinnon delivered her first child, Madigan James Mackinnon, on 19 March 2010, which also marks as her 37th birthday.
