Born on 1 March 1973, Frankie Poultney in Sheffield, she is a five feet tall ice-skater. Franklie Poultney was earlier in a marriage, but, in 2009, The Mail reported that she had set up home with the former Dancing on Ice contestant David Seaman and Frankie Poultney had ended six-year marriage. Frankie told The Mirror, “I know people will hate me for saying this, but, I can eat whatever I like without putting on weight because I work off all the calories by training so hard. I am a proper Yorkshire lass, so I love really hearty, traditional meals like roast beef and Yorkshire pud, sausage and mash, fish and chips and bread and butter pudding.”
Frankie Poultney used to compete in regional ice skating competitions before becoming a pro at the age of 18. From 2002 to 2006, Frankie Poultney was the principal Adagio skater on Planet Ice on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise Liner, Explorer of the Seas.
Frankie Poultney teamed up with Lee Sharpe and finished fifth in Dancing on Ice 2007.
In 2008, Frankie Poultney partnered with Chris Fountain in Dancing on Ice. They often topped the judges scores through various stages of the competition and eventually ended the show as runners-up.
In Dancing on Ice 2009, she partnered Ellery Hanley and they were voted out in sixth week.
In Dancing on Ice 2010, Frankie Poultney skated with Danny Young and finished fifth.
In 2011, Frankie was paired with Dave Vitty and they finished ninth.
In the year 2012, Frankie was paired with Mark Rhodes and they were the third pair to be voted out of the show.
Frankie Poultney was among the professional ice skaters to take part in the final series of Dancing on Ice in 2014. She was paired with David Seaman.
In the year 2015, she married Seaman.
