Alexandra Agoston-O’Connor is an Australian fashion model who has been the face of Kookai and is considered to be Gaultier’s muse.


She was born on June 24, 1987, in Sydney, Australia and is of Hungarian, Irish, English, and Austrian descent. She was discovered at age fifteen while on holiday with her family in Paris.

In the beginning, Agoston appeared for the New York Fashion Week and walked for about 20 shows during her first season. She went to Paris for a while and worked with John Galliano at Dior for three years and did prêt-à-porter and couture, as well as look books and fittings.

“I met Alexandra when she was just starting her first season in Paris. I was struck not only by her statuesque beauty but also by how well-spoken she was. I always remember seeing her during fittings and before the shows reading, writing and being very friendly to everyone – she has a great personality. In addition to that, Agoston has worked with the fashion industry’s top photographers, including Steven Klein, Craig McDean, and Ryan McGinley for publications such as W Magazine, ELLE, CR Fashion Book, Porter, Russh, Styleby, and Purple.

Well, it’s not just luxury clothes or expensive shoes or walking on the ramp that delights her– she is highly passionate about art. Off-duty, Alexandra is a budding art collector and is actively involved with One-Land Films Charity, an organization dedicated to preserving documentaries on Indigenous Australians. Gustav Klimt is her favorite artist.

She currently resides in New York City with her boyfriend, photographer Chris Colls.
