Steve Nicks is a renowned songwriter and vocalist who achieved worldwide success with her bestselling album, which sold 40 million copies globally. Her second album, Rumours, produced with her boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham, remains one of the highest selling studio albums to date.
The album reached number one on the charts within 31 weeks of its release in 1975. Nicks, as a member of Fleetwood Mac, has released 50 hit songs and her total album sales are estimated to be around 140 million. She began her singing career at a young age and met Buckingham while playing “California Dreamin'” at a Young Life club. They commercially released their first album together, Buckingham Nicks, but it was not a commercial success.
However, they continued to work together and released their second album, which was a worldwide hit and won a Grammy award in 1978. Nicks has been in a long-term relationship with Lindsey Buckingham since 1966, and later with Fleetwood Mac. She got married to Kim Anderson but the marriage ended soon. Nicks does not have any children, she herself admitted that it was her decision.
